“Educating an Honest Generation: from Preschool Education to Professional Specialist”


On August 22, 2025, at the Center for Innovative Creativity of Students in the Alatau District of Almaty, the annual August conference was held on the topic "Prospects of Education: Honest Citizen - Professional Specialist" with the participation of 270 preschool education teachers.


The conference was held in two stages: in the morning, more than 160 methodologists, educators, Kazakh language teachers, special educators, psychologists, physical education instructors, and music leaders took part, and in the afternoon a plenary session was held.


The plenary session was attended by the Deputy Head of the Department of Education, the Head of the Department of Preschool Upbringing and Education, faculty members of the Department of Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy of Abai KazNPU, veteran teachers, as well as heads of 250 state and private kindergartens.


The conference was organized by the Department of Preschool Upbringing and Education and the City Preschool Resource Center of the Almaty Department of Education.


As part of the section meeting for preschool educators and Kazakh language teachers on improving the quality of preschool education through the introduction of innovative pedagogical approaches and technologies, high-level master classes were conducted by faculty members of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology of Abai KazNPU, Department of Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy: PhD, Senior Lecturer S.Zh. Yerkebaeva and Master senior lecturer Uteeva K.Zh., мaster A.A. Auezova. The section also discussed pressing issues and prospects for the development of the preschool upbringing and education system.


At the plenary session, scientific reports on topical issues of the modern preschool education system were presented by Associate Professor, PhD of the Department of Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy of Abai KazNPU, G.T. Abitova, and PhD, Senior Lecturer S.Zh. Yerkebaeva.


In addition, more than 20 veteran educators and teachers who made a long-standing contribution to the development of preschool education were awarded letters of gratitude from the First Vice-Minister of Education, honorary certificates of the Department of Education, and commemorative gifts.


Summarizing the results and clarifying the main directions and priorities of preschool education for the 2025-2026 academic year, the session concluded with the adoption of a resolution.
