Seminar on Actual problems of Kazakh writing in the Latin alphabet

On January 6, 2020, a seminar «Experience of teaching Kazakh language for students by using the Latin alphabet. Actual problems of Kazakh writing in the Latin alphabet».

The seminar was conducted by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the University, Assan Satmyrzaev.

At the seminar, teachers of the Kazakh language and literature Department named after academician S. Kirabayev of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education, who have passed training courses of the National center for advanced training «Orleu», made a report.

Professor of the University of Mayra Junisova made a report on the topic «Ways of mastering the national writing by students», told about the goals, modules, and stages of the course, taught to work with several sites, demonstrated an example of models of micro-lessons, and also taught how to create smart goals.

Associate Professor Gulzat Rayeva in her report on «Effective methods and techniques of teaching the Kazakh alphabet on a Latin basis» mentioned the problems in the history of Kazakh writing in Latin, controversial issues of the Kazakh alphabet on a Latin basis and methods of teaching new rules of spelling.

Professor Marat Sakayev expressed his opinion about the effective ways of translating the Kazakh alphabet to the Latin alphabet.

The seminar achieved its goal, arousing the interest of the audience present.
