Kazakh-French Forum «Development Strategy of the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute of Abai KazNPU»

On 5 October, in honor of the 90th anniversary of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, the Kazakh-French forum will be held: «Development Strategy of the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute of Abai KazNPU».

The main goal of the event is to increase the prestige of education at the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute, improve the institute`s management system, ensure the highest quality training of specialists, develop strategic development directions to increase the effectiveness of the institute, and exchange experience with foreign universities.

Rector Takir Balykbayev, Chairman of the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairat Mami, President of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan Murat Zhurinov, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the French Republic Philip Martin, Deputy Executive Director of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Member of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe from the Republic of Kazakhstan Igor Rogov, representatives of the Embassy of the French Republic, the scientific community, representatives of government agencies and partners of the Sorbon Institute a-Kazakhstan, rectors and officials from a number of universities in France - Sorbonne Paris Cité, Denis Diderot Paris VII, Bordeaux, Poitiers, Strasbourg, Toulouse and the staff of the Institute of the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.

A ceremony of signing memorandums with partner universities and awarding jubilee medals of Abai KazNPU will be held within the framework of the Kazakh-French forum.
