| Vacant position: | Senior Expert of the Development Strategy Support   Division of the Strategy Department | 
| The main functional responsibilities of the   structural unit: | - Organization and maintenance of the strategic   planning process (conducting sessions on strategic planning, activities to   develop strategic goals, work out ways to achieve strategic goals); - Development of the University Development   Strategy; - Provision of consulting services to structural   divisions on the University Development Strategy; - Monitoring the implementation of the Strategy   Implementation Plan; - Organization and coordination of work on the university`s participation in world rankings (institutional, subject, in terms of   employability, etc.); | 
| Main   job responsibilities: | - Participation in the organization of monitoring of   the Development Strategy Implementation Plan; - Participation in the organization and holding of   strategic sessions, events to develop strategic goals, work out ways to   achieve strategic goals - Participation in the preparation of the   presentation of the Strategy; - Participation in providing information to   structural divisions about the adopted Strategy; - Participation in the development and analysis of   the implementation of the Development Strategy Implementation Plan; - Participation in the collection of data for   entering information into databases in international rankings (QS, THE,   Greenmetric WUR, etc.); - Interaction with other specialists and heads of   structural divisions of the university, as well as institutions,   organizations and communities. | 
| Business   trip: | if necessary | 
| Education: | Higher social, humanitarian and technical education. It is desirable to have an academic degree of at   least a master`s. At least 1 (one) year in the field of education, in   academic organizations | 
| Required professional experience (duration, scope,   other) | - Ability to work with   documentation - Ability to process and   analyze textual and statistical information, draw conclusions; - Teamwork skills; - Ability to translate   documents (from Russian into Kazakh, etc.); - Express your thoughts   clearly and competently. | 
| Professional   competencies: | Sociability, conscientiousness, active life   position, stress resistance, creativity, organizational skills, punctuality,   easy learning, accuracy. | 
| Knowledge of languages, including the state language   (list of languages that the candidate must speak) | Kazakh - fluent Russian - fluent English would be an advantage | 
| Computer   skills: | Good knowledge of MS Office   package (Word, Outlook), Excel, GoogleDrive/Docs/Meet, ZOOM, PowerPoint,   Prezi, Canva, work with SocialMedia, e-mail. |
