A scientific work on the study of the history of local history has been published

The results of a three-year grant research project of the Institute of History and Ethnology named after Sh. Valikhanov, funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, "History of the Atyrau region from ancient times to the present day," have been summed up.

The goal of the project was to prepare a three-volume collective work on the history of the Atyrau region during the period of antiquity, the Middle Ages, the modern and Soviet periods, as well as during the years of independence of our country. The head of the scientific project was a professor at the Department of World History, Faculty of History and Law, Abay Kazakh National University. To date, the project has achieved its previously set goals and on June 24 of this year at Atyrau University named after Kh. Dosmukhamedov, a presentation of the 3-volume "History of the Atyrau Region from Ancient Times to the Present Day" was held.
