SPIRITUAL MODERNIZATION IS BASIS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF KAZAKHSTAN

       In order to support and general discussion of the article program of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, which was published on 12 April in the republican newspaper "Egemen Kazakhstan" under the title "The course towards future: spiritual modernization" on 13 April, 2017 at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University was held a round table on the theme: "Spiritual modernization is basis of the development Kazakhstan".
        The round table was attended by the administration, heads of structural units, teaching staff, PhD doctoral students, undergraduates and students of the university.
         The round table was opened by the rector of Abai KazNPU academician Seryk Zh. Praliyev. In speech, rector emphasized the priorities and relevance of this strategic document and presented his vision of the development of Kazakhstan in the near future.
       Further, the reports were made by the pro-rector for educational work, candidate of political sciences, professor Zhanatbek.Y. Ishpekbayev, Head of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines, Doctor of Political Science, Associate Professor Zh.K. Simtikov, Director of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education, Doctor of Philological Sciences , Professor Baltabai Abdigaziuly, Professor of the Department of Political Science and Socio-Philosophical Disciplines, Doctor of Philosophy D.O. Kusayinov, Chairman of the Council of Veterans of the University Zh.B. Shildebayev, 1st year course doctoral student A. Yerzhanov and chairman of the Committee for Youth Affairs R. Seitov.
         In reports, participants noted the political and ideological significance of the program document, highlighting that the main priority and direction of the perspective development of Kazakhstan is the modernization of education and the preservation of cultural and moral values.
     Professor Zhanatbek Y. Ishpekbayev commented on a number of tasks of the strategic document. He particularly noted that the President`s goals set will lead our country to a qualitatively new level of technological development and will direct us to preserve the historical heritage, realize the integrity, identity, and inviolability of independent Kazakhstan. To this end, every citizen of the country is obliged to make a feasible contribution to the development of a civilized state.
       According to an objective assessment of the participants of the round table, the implementation of the strategic document will expand the borders of national self-consciousness the main priority, which will be the national mentality.
