Information about the chair

Chair of methods of teaching philological disciplines founded Sept. 1, 2015 on the base of chair of practical language and other chairs of the Philology Institute, was composed of the leading teachers of the Methodist of the Philology Institute. Formation of the chair was caused by the decision of administration due to the expediency of further improving methods of teaching philological disciplines and enhancing the quality of the practices.
From the first days of its formation the chair is headed by Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Shakhanova Rosalinda Ashirbaevna, Excellent Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, academician of IASP and MAI RK, winner of badge Y.Altynsarin, medal "Kurmet belgіsі" for his contribution to the development of Kazakh state women`s pedagogical university (2014).
The chair will train specialists in the field: 5B012100 - Kazakh language and literature with non-Kazakh language of education (bachelor), 6M012100 - Kazakh language and literature with non-Kazakh language of education (Masters), 6D012100 -Kazakh language and literature with non-Kazakh language learning ( Doctorate), then there will be prepared experts on teaching the Kazakh language and literature for secondary schools and universities. Staff of the chair also conducts classes on all special institutions of the University in the disciplines of "Kazakh language", "Professional Kazakh language" and "Russian language".
The work of the chair is based on the modern model of teaching methodology of philological sciences, built on the principles of interconnected communicative, cognitive and socio-cultural development of the individual, on the theoretical and practical training in accordance with state general education standards of higher education and the requirements of the loan program.
The presence in the curriculum disciplines base for teaching techniques of philological disciplines, allows to synthesize the received knowledge and to create a base holistic comprehensive view of the pedagogical process in order to work closely with schools in the future to be the leading methodological center that can provide organizational, scientific and methodological, cognitive assistance in dealing with methodological issues and problems of language teaching in the educational process for universities and for secondary schools of Almaty and Kazakhstan.
General chair is the topic: "New directions in training Kazakh and Russian languages and literature".
High-quality teaching of Kazakh and Russian is also one of the main directions of the chair for the purpose of professionally focused training to the Kazakh and Russian languages.
One of the priorities in the work of the chair is also conducting training and teaching practice for the different contingents of students and pays great attention to its implementation in the educational process of the school. Teaching practice is aimed at practical knowledge of laws and principles of professional activity, to improve the methodological and theoretical training of a trainee during his training activities at school. During teaching practice student interns must learn and fix a variety of pedagogical situations illustrating certain techniques, technology training.
The chair provides educational, methodical and research work in the Kazakh and Russian languages, research, educational work among students of the Institute of the University, and in the preparation of the teaching staff in undergraduate and Master`s degree: 5B012100 - Kazakh language and literature with non-Kazakh language of education (undergraduate) 6M012100 - Kazakh language and literature with non-Kazakh language of education (Masters) 6D012100 - Kazakh language and literature with non-Kazakh language of education (doctorate).
Teaching staff of the chair - known scientists, teachers, methodologists, who made a great contribution to the development of modern philological science in Kazakhstan. Members of the department has developed a number of textbooks, teaching aids and scientific monographs, model programs and educational standards, designed for secondary schools, universities, graduate and doctoral programs. Teachers of the chair are permanent members of the jury and the competition for schoolchildren Almaty and Kazakhstan, heads of scientific projects.
Major methods of teaching philological disciplines is quite high potential of the teaching staff. Among all the chairs of the Institute of Philology, the chair of methodology of teaching philological disciplines - the most numerous. (Altybaeva SM), 5 PhD on Philology Sciences, associate professors (Shakharman G.P., Maymakova A.D., Kadyrov G.R., Umirzakova Z.A., Aybergenova S.T.) 4 candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor (Kabatay B.T., Bekisheva R.I., Akbembetova A.E. Nurgali C.), 2 PhD on Philology Sciences, senior lecturers (Shamakhov A.I., Osmanov Z.Zh.), 4 candidate of pedagogical sciences, senior lecturers (Borash R.B., Alibayeva M.S ., Kenzhebayeva G.M., Rauandina A.K.), 3 Masters, senior teachers (Esimbek S.I., Nuptekeeva G.B., Sametova Zh.Sh.), 3 senior teachers (Zhakanova G.І., Tokhtamova R.K., Shintemirova A.M.), 2 masters (Belasarova Zh., Nurbayeva A.M.), doctoral PhD graduates and preparing for defense.
The chair has methodical sections of the Kazakh and Russian languages, student scientific club "Til tagylymy" ( "Linguistic upbringing" ).
