Competition for vacancies in the Military Department


NJSC «Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University» (hereinafter - the University) announces a competition for filling vacancies in the Military Department for the academic year 2022-2023:

1) Deputy Head - 1.
2) Head of cycle - 1.
3) Senior Lecturer - 2.
4) Lecturer - 6.


Requirements to contestants:
For the post of Deputy Head of Military Department: higher or higher military/specialized education, military rank, work in the pedagogical sphere for at least five years;
For the post of head of the cycle: higher education, higher military education or higher military specialization, military rank, work in the pedagogical field for at least five years;
Senior lecturer and teacher: higher education, higher military education or higher military specialization, military rank and at least five years` experience in the teaching profession.


Persons applying for the competition shall submit the following documents by the deadline indicated in the announcement of the competition:

1. Current employees of the University:
1) application to the Chairman of the Board - Rector for participation in the competition (in accordance with Annex 1)
2) Candidate`s application form on paper or electronically (in accordance with Annex 2)*;
3) the candidate`s performance evaluation questionnaire (as per annex 3)**;
4) the decision of the chair meeting;
5) list of scientific works and inventions, certified by the chief scientific secretary (for the last 5 years);
6) certificates of foreign language proficiency (if available);
7) copies of certificates of retraining and advanced training (if any) and originals for verification (for the last 5 years).
2. Candidates who are not full-time employees of the University:
1) an application to the Chairman of the Board - Rector for participation in the competition (in accordance with Annex 1);
2) Candidate`s application form in paper or electronic format (in accordance with Annex 2);*
3) a copy of identification document, copies of diplomas of higher and/or postgraduate education, academic and scientific degrees, document of academic rank, their originals for verification;
4) document confirming employment history (for persons with work experience), personal record booklet;
5) certificate of absence of criminal record;
6) medical certificates confirming absence of registration in narcological, psychoneurological clinics;
7) certificates of foreign language proficiency (if any);
8) copies of certificates of retraining and advanced training (if any) and originals for verification (for the last 5 years);
9) list of scientific works and inventions, certified by the chief scientific secretary (for the last 5 years);
10) references or recommendations from the last place of work, CV.


Documents on education issued by foreign educational institutions shall be submitted together with a notarized translation into the Kazakh or Russian languages.


In case of incomplete submission of documents and (or) documents with expired validity for participation in the competition the application with all documents will be returned to the person, who submitted the application before the competition starts.


The deadline for submission of applications and documents for participation in the competition is till August 31, 2022 (inclusive).


Reception of documents is carried out by hand at the address: Almaty city, Dostyk prospect, 13. The personnel policy department (office № 103), from 9:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m.

*Procedure for working with questionnaires:
Each candidate fills in the provided form «Candidate Questionnaire» based on individual indicators reflecting the candidate`s performance during the academic period with supporting documents attached;
the candidates shall fill in the questionnaire based on the achieved results for the period indicated in the questionnaire «Period of measurement».


**The Head of Department, in order to evaluate the performance of the staff members participating in the competition, completes the «Teacher Performance Evaluation Questionnaire» (according to Annex 3) with the involvement of three leading experts of the departments.
