 Head of the Development Strategy Support   Division of the Strategy Department 
 | 
 
| 
 The main functional responsibilities of the   structural unit: 
 | 
 - Organization and support of the strategic   planning process (holding strategic sessions based on the results of   monitoring the implementation of the Strategy Implementation Plan and, as   necessary, activities to develop strategic goals, work out ways to achieve   strategic goals); 
- Participate in the development of the   University Development Strategy and in the formation of key strategic   development documents; 
- Monitoring the achievement of strategic   goals (audit of the Strategy, monitoring the plan for implementing the   objectives of the Strategy and the University Development Plan, the   sustainability of the functioning of the strategy processes); 
- Control over the implementation of the   Development Strategy in the structural divisions of the university; 
- Provision of consulting services to   structural divisions on the University Development Strategy; 
- Qualitative monitoring of the   implementation of the Strategy Implementation Plan and drawing up a report   based on the monitoring results; 
- Coordination of work on the participation   of the university in world rankings (institutional, subject, in terms of   employability, etc.).

 Main job responsibilities: 
 | 
 - Support for the development of the   Strategy: preparing the text of the Strategy, making adjustments to it,   preparing the presentation of the Strategy; 
- Ensuring that structural divisions are   informed about the adopted Strategy; 
- Development and analysis of the   implementation of the Development Strategy Implementation Plan; 
- Preparation of reports (for half a year   and annual reports) based on the results of the monitoring of the   Implementation Plan; 
- Promotion of the university in world   rankings (institutional, subject, in terms of employability, etc.); 
- Implementation of general management and   organization of the activities of the department, ensuring control over the   execution of instructions, decisions of orders and orders of the management   bodies of the Company, the Department.

 Education: 
 | 
 Higher social and humanitarian, legal,   economic, technical education 
Academic degree not lower than Master`s 
Additional education in the field of   management, MBA will be an advantage 
Availability of certificates of completion   of courses of strategic management, management in education, etc.

 Required professional experience (duration,   scope, other) 
 | 
 At least 4 years, academic field,   administrative experience in departments, departments of the university, in   government bodies 
 | 
 
| 
 Professional competencies: 
 | 
 1. Elaboration of the Strategy, the Strategy   implementation plan, the University development plans; 
2. Continuous monitoring of the   implementation of the Strategy, the implementation plan of the University   Strategy and training institutes; 
3. Conducting strategic sessions; 
4. Drawing up reports on the implementation   of the Development Strategy and Development Plan; 
5. Organising and coordinating the   University`s participation in world rankings; 
6. Participate in the development of   internal regulatory documents of the Company, Department.

 Knowledge of languages, including the state   language (list of languages that the candidate must speak)

 Kazakh - fluent 
Russian - fluent 
English - read, write, understand at least   B2 Upper-Intermediate

 Computer skills:

 Fluent MS Office package (Word, Outlook),   Excel, Google Drive/Docs/Meet, ZOOM, PowerPoint, Canva, work with world   rankings database, a documentolog (document   management).
