WORLD CONGRESS SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDES AT ABAI UNIVERSITY

The World Inclusion Congress, dedicated to inclusive education and held on October 16–17 at Abai University, has successfully concluded its work. The large-scale international forum brought together experts and specialists from around the world to discuss pressing issues and innovations in inclusive education.

On the first day, participants explored how to enhance the quality and accessibility of education through pedagogical innovation. Presentations focused on the opportunities and challenges posed by digital technologies and artificial intelligence in education, as well as the importance of assessment methods and new approaches to improving learning outcomes.

On October 16, the discussions were organized across five thematic areas addressing equal access to education for children with special needs. Presentations based on international research and practical experience were delivered, fostering productive dialogue between Kazakhstani and foreign experts.

The second day of the Congress, October 17, continued in four directions under key topics such as “Dual, Inclusive and Fair Education,” “Person-Centered Approaches,” and “Leaders of Inclusive Education.” These sessions sparked rich and constructive discussions among participants.

Foreign delegates emphasized that the success of inclusive education largely depends on teachers and parents. They expressed their gratitude to Kazakhstan, and particularly to Abai University, for hosting such a high-level international event, calling it a vivid example of the country’s educational progress and renewal.

By organizing a forum of this scale, Abai University reaffirmed its academic excellence and leadership in education, providing students and researchers with valuable exposure to international best practices.

The successful conclusion of the Congress marks another milestone in strengthening Abai University’s reputation and its significant contribution to advancing inclusive education in Kazakhstan.
