Graduation Ceremony Held for Students of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology

On July 3, 2025, a solemn graduation ceremony was held at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University for the graduates of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology.

The event was attended by Maksat Zhakau, Vice-Rector for Social Development of Abai University; Galiya Abaeva, Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology; Aktoty Akzholova, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs; Yelmurad Kurmangali, Vice Dean for Social and Educational Affairs; Berikzhan Almakhambetov, Chairman of the University Veterans` Council; heads of departments, faculty members, graduates, their parents, and honored guests.

In the 2024-2025 academic year, a total of 516 young specialists successfully completed their studies at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology. Among them, 417 students completed their bachelor`s programs, and 99 master`s students received their diplomas.

During the ceremony, a video greeting from Sayasat Nurbek, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Bolat Tilep, Chairman of the Board and Rector of Abai University, was shown. Both leaders warmly congratulated the graduates and wished them success in their future endeavors.

Outstanding students and those who were active in community and university life were also awarded letters of appreciation from the Rector. Additionally, each graduate received a commemorative gift - a collection of Abai Kunanbayev`s "Qara Sozder" (Words of Edification) - on behalf of the Rector.

It is worth noting that the diploma awarding ceremony will continue tomorrow, July 4.
