Diploma Award Ceremony for Students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Geography

From July 1 to 2, 2025, a solemn diploma award ceremony was held at the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University for graduates of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Geography.

The ceremony was attended by Banu Narbekova, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs; Nurken Musabayev, Vice-Rector for Digitalization; Kulyash Kaimuldinova, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Geography; Khayrulla Zhanbekov, Director of the Department for Academic Affairs; heads of departments; faculty members; graduates; their parents; and esteemed guests.

In the 2024-2025 academic year, a total of 765 young specialists successfully completed their studies at the faculty, including 645 bachelor`s degree holders and 120 master`s graduates. Among them, 212 students graduated with honors and received red diplomas.

During the ceremony, video greetings were shown from Sayasat Nurbek, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Bolat Tilep, Chairman of the Board and Rector of Abai University. Both delivered heartfelt congratulations and wished the graduates success and prosperity in the future.

Outstanding students and active participants in the university`s community life were also awarded Letters of Appreciation from the Rector. As a commemorative gift, each graduate received a copy of "Words of Edification" by Abai Kunanbayev, presented on behalf of the rector.
