Abai University was visited by a delegation from Ili University of Education (China)

On June 30, 2025, a formal meeting was held at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University with a delegation from Yili Normal University of the People`s Republic of China. The purpose of the visit was to strengthen bilateral academic cooperation and expand international ties in the fields of education and science.

On behalf of Abai University, the meeting was attended by Vice-Rector for Strategy and Internationalization A. Iskakova, Director of the Department of International Cooperation В. Sapargaliyeva, Head of the Department of Chinese Language and Sinology G. Alikhankyzy, as well as representatives of faculties and relevant university departments.

During the constructive dialogue, the parties discussed prospects for implementing academic mobility programs for students and faculty members, involving foreign scholars in the educational process, and launching joint international research projects. Special attention was given to the development of mechanisms for implementing dual-degree programs.

The meeting took place in an atmosphere of mutual respect, interest, and a shared commitment to long-term partnership. The agreements reached are expected to serve as a solid foundation for expanding academic horizons and contributing to the internationalization of the educational environment of both institutions.
