Educational meeting for rescuers of Almaty

On May 16, 2025, the Department of Emergency Situations of Almaty city, together with the Department of Kazakh Literature and Teaching Methods of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai, named after Academician S. Kirabayev, organized an educational event for civil defense workers. The event was dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the great poet and educator Abai Kunanbayev.

During the event, the participants visited the Abai Museum at the university, where they got acquainted with valuable exhibits related to the poet`s life and work. The museum`s exposition allowed for a deeper understanding of Abai`s literary and spiritual heritage.

During the event, a well-known Abayt member, Candidate of Philology Shoynbet Zhabal gave a lecture on Abai`s work and his philosophical reflections. In his report, the scientist emphasized the relevance of Abai`s thoughts on humanity, morality and spiritual education for modern society.

Such educational meetings contribute not only to the professional training of rescuers, but also to their spiritual and cultural development. The event dedicated to Abai`s legacy increased the respect of civil defense workers for national values and gave them a spiritual boost.
