Representatives of Abai University are Participating in the China International Education Exhibition Tour (CIEET-2025)

On April 11, 2025, the China International Education Exhibition Tour (CIEET-2025) officially commenced in Beijing, the capital of the People`s Republic of China. Invited by the PHIHUA International Education Technology Center, Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University is represented by the Rector`s Advisor and Head of the Press Service, Mr. Nurbek Baibosynov, and the Head of the Department of Chinese Language and Sinology of the Faculty of Philology, Ms. Guliya Alikhanqyzy.

Prior to the exhibition, an international forum entitled "Quality, Trust, and Security: Sustainable and Stable Development of Overseas Education" was held. The forum brought together over 1,000 delegates from more than 200 higher education institutions around the world. Discussions focused on three core elements of international education: quality, governance, and security. The forum aimed to improve education systems, student assessment methods, and student safety, as well as to strengthen the link between education and employment, address challenges in academic exchange, and enhance participation in global education governance.

Supported by the Ministry of Education of the People`s Republic of China, CIEET is regarded as a major platform for promoting the high-quality development of overseas education initiatives and accelerating the openness and internationalization of China`s education sector. The exhibition is traditionally organized by the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE) and is considered one of the most influential and large-scale international education fairs in China.

CIEET-2025 offers a valuable opportunity to further strengthen educational cooperation between Kazakhstan and China, contribute to the development of science and education in both countries, showcase the academic strengths of Abai University, and attract prospective international students.

The organizers and representatives of the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange expressed their appreciation to Abai University for its active participation in the event.

It is worth noting that the Department of Chinese Language and Sinology at the Faculty of Philology of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University currently has 118 students enrolled in the "Teacher of Eastern and English Languages" program and 173 students enrolled in the "Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages" program.
