Mutual cooperation in sports science

On December 18-21, 2024, Vice President of the European Sambo Federation, Dean of the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education of the University of Novi Sad (Serbia) PhD, Professor Patrick Drid and his assistant, doctoral student Marko Manojlovic held a series of lectures on the topic: "Methodological aspects of systematic review and meta-analysis in sports science and medicine" for teaching staff of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Initial Military Training.

During the lectures, questions were raised about the place of sports science in the modern world, its significance, problems and ways out of it. In turn, faculty teaching staff raised questions about the methods of applying advanced works on sports science in publications with a world rating (Scopus, Web of Science, etc.) in their scientific publications, the features of modern sports training and many painful problems in physical culture and sports science. The fact that a scientist came to our educational institution, occupying a unique place in world sports science and shared news, methodology, features, innovative technologies in sports training, educational trends and new biomedical information in the world of sports science, became a big event. It can be considered that the event significantly raised the scientific potential of the entire faculty.

The initiator of the arrival of Professor Patrick Drid is candidate of pedagogical sciences, professor of the faculty E.K. Seisenbekov.
