Russian Russian Language without Borders: the Legacy of A.S. Pushkin and Pushkin`s Traditions in Russian Literature International Forum

The International Forum of Teachers and Teachers of Russian Language and Literature "Russian Language without Borders: A.S. Pushkin`s Heritage and Pushkin Traditions in Russian Literature" was held in Yerevan on 26-28 November 2024. It brought together 120 school and university teachers from Armenia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Russia. The Federal Agency organised the forum for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation, N. I. Lobachevski State University of Nizhni Novgorod (UNN) with the participation of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia and the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Armenia.

At the plenary session, Saule Abisheva, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Russian Language and Literature of Abai KazNPU, reported "The Influence of A. Pushkin on M. Makatayev`s work". At the session of the Round Table "Teaching Russian language and literature in CIS countries: educational technologies" the presentation of the book of the famous Kazakh scientist-philologist G.M. Muchnik, published by the Department of Russian Language and Literature of Abai KazNPU with the support of the Russian House in Almaty took place.

The section "Pushkin lessons (from the experience of studying and teaching Russian literature in general education institutions", moderated by S.D. Abisheva, with the report "How to analyse a lyrical work in literature lessons (On the question of interpretation of A.S. Pushkin`s poem "Arion")" was delivered by her student, graduate of Abai KazNPU, candidate of philological sciences, strategic partner of the Department of Russian Language and Literature, teacher of Russian language and literature of Specialised Lyceum №165 Marina Asylbekova.

The International Forum of CIS Russians became an important platform for the exchange of experience, discussion of topical issues and development of cooperation between teachers.
