A week of information and bibliographic classes in the Scientific Library

From September 9 to 13, 2024, a week of information and bibliographic classes was held in the Scientific Library. The purpose of the event was to teach 1st year students the effective use of information resources of the library. The event was attended by more than 3,800 first-year students from 154 groups of all faculties and institutes of the university.

During the event, students were provided with information in the form of a presentation on the development of initial self-service skills in the university library, as well as on traditional and electronic libraries, their structure, reference and search systems and document search methods. The specialists of the scientific library also provided the participants with information on the skills of searching and storing data on digital resources.

The week of information and bibliographic classes was held at a high level and made a positive impression on both library staff and students.
