A preventive meeting was held on the theme «Gambling is a disease of society!»

On September 13, 2024, a preventive meeting with students organized by the Psychological Support Service on the topic «Kumar oyin - kogam derti!» was held.

The main purpose of the meeting is the prevention of offenses and hooliganism of students, Internet fraud, drug addiction and drug distribution, as well as their involvement in gambling, destructive currents. During the meeting, the students were introduced to the activities of rehabilitation centers for dangerous diseases, legal assistance and psychological support service. The meeting was held by the speaker, director of the center «Renaissance of Life», psychologist Ulbolsin Zinakhanova.

At this event, students asked questions about gambling, ways to prevent it and received comprehensive answers.

The meeting was attended by more than 200 students of 1-4 courses of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science.
