Meeting with Representatives of the Embassy of Turkmenistan

On September 5, 2024, a meeting with representatives from the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.

During the meeting, key prospects for cooperation in several important areas were discussed. Special attention was given to academic issues concerning students from Turkmenistan. Last academic year, more than 100 students from Turkmenistan studied at the university, and a significant increase in their numbers is expected this year. Issues related to student accommodation and academic performance were also addressed.

Various types of cooperation were discussed, including participation in the Erasmus+ program. Special emphasis was placed on preparations for celebrating Neutrality Day in 2025.

One of the promising areas was the discussion of signing Memoranda of Understanding between our university and universities in Turkmenistan. Representatives from the Consulate expressed their readiness for comprehensive cooperation within the framework of academic mobility and student exchanges.

This meeting was an important step in strengthening the partnership between our countries and opened up new prospects for future cooperation.
