Subject Olympiad in the speciality "6В01703- Foreign language: two foreign languages"

On February 15th, a subject-specific Olympiad in the specialty "6B01703 - Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages" took place. The aim of the subject-specific Olympiad is to identify the abilities of students as future professionals and to support them.

Students from the 3rd and 4th courses participated in the Olympiad. A total of 40 students with a high language proficiency level applied to participate, out of which 35 students took part. The subject-specific Olympiad consisted of 2 stages:

Stage I:

Completion of lexical-grammatical test tasks in Section 1. As a result, 20 students were selected.

In Section 2, tasks based on IELTS (Reading, Listening, Writing). Consequently, 10 students proceeded to the next stage.

At the II stage of the Olympiad, students were given oral tasks related to professional specialties, based on methodology. As a result, 5 students took prize places.

Our students gained extracurricular experience and wonderful emotions. We express our gratitude to Serik Ivatov for leading theorganization, Dana Shayakhmetova, and the commission members - Guldana Seidaliyeva, Zada Kemelbekova, and Saule Daurenbek, for their honest conduct of the Olympiad!

An important part of the Olympiad. By the decision of the Commission, the first place goes to Alnur Bakzor, the second place to Abdumanap Akzhan, Torekeldy Aikhan, and the third place to Uskenova Aisana, Orynbassar Aruzhan. We hope that our students will return from the republican Olympiad with prizes!
