Project team at Cambridge University Library

On June 19, 2023, the Abai KazNPU research team of the foundation project AP 14872311 "Theory and Technology for Promoting Research Activity of Higher Education Teachers through Integration of Informal Research as Action Research" visited the training workshop of Cambridge University Professor Elaine Wilson who organised a workshop on writing academic articles for Scopus & Web of Science journals. She introduced the participants to the basic requirements for publications, the processes of editing and reviewing articles, selecting suitable journals, and the layout of bibliographic data.

Professor Elaine Wilson`s training workshop continued at the University Library of Cambridge, where a guided tour of the library was organised for the project team. The University Library has 114 libraries, the largest of which is the University Library, also known internally as "the UL".

The books on psychological and pedagogical sciences deserve special attention. There was a great opportunity for project participants to peruse the many books on Action Research, on informal forms of research. The team also received with great appreciation the books donated by the professor for the Action Research laboratory at Abai KazNPU.
