Meeting with schoolchildren of Talgar

On January 14, 2019 teachers of the Russian Language and Literature Department of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education за KazNPU named after Abai Associate Professor Ryszhan Bekisheva, Senior Lecturer Roshanguul Tokhtamova, PhD doctor Aida Nurbaeva, 1st year PhD student on specialty «The Russian language and literature» A. Kaliaskarova visited the schools of the city of Talgar, Almaty region.

Teachers of the department visited the school № 1named after I.F. Khalipov, where they met with the school administration: Director Zamzagul Mushrapilova, deputy director for educational work Kenzhegul Mustafinova and teacher of Russian language and literature Gulnara Sagindykova. At the meeting issues of mutual cooperation, the provision of methodological assistance to teachers, the establishment of permanent contacts for further cooperation and career guidance were discussed.

In the assembly hall of the school, to pupils of 10 and 11 grades were shown a film dedicated to the history of KazNPU named after Abai. The teachers spoke about the specialties of the the university. To pupils were given advertising brochures and materials, and comprehensive answers to their questions.

The administration of the school No. 2 named after S. Seifullin (director Raikhan Ukeeva, teacher of the Russian language and literature Gulbanu Zholdybaeva) and secondary school-lyceum No. 7 (director Takura Agilskaya) welcomed the teachers and organized a meeting with schoolchildren of 10-11 grades.

At the meeting were handed booklets of the university, as well as slides on specialties, scientific achievements of departments, sports and social life of students.

Schoolchildren actively supported the conversation and asked the following questions: is the university a state institution; what type of certificate is issued; what is the number of budget places; what is the cost of training; is it possible installment payments; how many points should be earned for admission; what is the number of students in groups; on which transport you can get to the university.
During the conversation, teachers gave detailed answers to all questions of pupils.

Teachers of the department - visiting high school students

On January 11, 2019, teachers of the Russian Language and Literature Department of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education, Associate Professor Ryszhan Bekisheva, Senior Lecturer Roshangul Tokhtamova, Doctor PhD Aida Nurbaeva, conducted career-guidance work at the lycée No. 71 of Almaty.

The teachers introduced high school students with a long history, structure, specialties of the university, as well as with the prospects for its development. During the meeting, consultations were given on the areas of training, the rules for admission and submission of documents to the University, and advertising materials about University were distributed. During the event, schoolchildren were shown a video about our university, a presentation about educational activities, cultural and social life of the university.

Pupils of the school expressed a desire to come to the University for the Open Day to have the opportunity to learn more about the leading pedagogical university of Kazakhstan.

New Year `s Party

December 26, 2018 a festive evening in honor of the upcoming New Year was held at the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education. The festive program of the evening was prepared by doctoral students of the department of Russian language and literature.

Warm greetings, fun contests and quizzes, musical numbers, songs and dances - the evening was a success!

Awards to volunteers

On 19 November, 2018, a solemn event took place in the building of the Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics - the awarding of employees and students who contributed to the celebration of the 90th anniversary of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.

First-year students of the specialty «Russian Language and Literature», Asem Oktambek, Aruzhan Sabitova, Akerke Bolysbek and Shugyla Shadyrman received letters of commendations for participating in volunteer work during the anniversary events.

The first course in the cleanup

On 20 October, 2018, students of the 1st course of the specialty «5В011800 - Russian language and literature» took part in the work day. Cleaning the territory of the Park named after 28 Panfilov`s guardsmen is a necessary and noble cause. The guys worked together with a fun. The result of their work is visible to all visitors of the park. Let our city become cleaner and more beautiful!

We rest together!

On 27 June, 2018, the Institute of Philology and multilingual education teachers and the staff went out of the city to relax. Recreation was successful! Far from the city noise, you could play sports games with children, and take a walk in the foothills, and sit comfortably in a yurt. Participants of the trip expressed their gratitude to the organizer of the holiday - Chair of Russian Language and Literature.

Festive concert

The first year students of the specialties «Russian language and literature» and «Russian language and literature in schools with non-Russian language of teaching» organized a concert dedicated to the celebration of the International Women`s Day on the 6th of March, 2018. Students performed songs and poems dedicated to women. Students addressed warm congratulations to the teachers of the Chair of the Russian language and literature. The concert was cheerful and heartily.

Meeting with poetry

  On 8 November,  2017 at Abai KazNPU with the participation of the Council for Russian Literature of the Writers Union of the Republic of Kazakhstan  took place a presentation of  book of the famous Kazakhstan poet and literary critic Tamara MADZIGON (1940-1982) "The outline of life. Poems. Translations. Articles and research" / Compilers S. Shubin, V. Savelyeva. - Almaty: Zhazushy, 2017.
The meeting was opened by the Head  the Russian Language and Literature department, Doctor of Philological sciences, Professor Saule Dzhunusovna Abisheva. She presented presenters of the book - Professor of the Department of Russian Language and Literature Vera V. Savelev and Sergei I. Shubin, thanks to them works  today`s literary event took place.
Famous Kazakh writers Adolf Artsishevsky, Aslan Zhaksylykov, Bakhyt Kairbekov, Valery Mikhailov, Umit Tazhikenova, Tatyana Frolovskaya, Nadezhda Chernova and others took part in the roundtable discussion.
The creativity of the poet Tamara Matsigon was also spoken by scholars and literary critics - Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Galina Muchnik and Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Ulbolsyn K. Abisheva.
The 2nd year course students prepared a presentation about the creative destiny of the poet, scientist and teacher. There were fragments from the responses to Tamara Madzigon`s works of the greatest contemporary poets David Samoilov, Alexander Kushner, Yuri Dombrovsky. The widow of the remarkable writer Yu. Dombrovsky, Clara Turumova-Dombrovskaya, participated in this meeting in absentia: she sent her memoirs about student friendship with Tamara Mikhailovna. Another response to the book was received from the poetess, adviser to the Chairman of the Moscow City Organization of the Writers Union of Russia, Nina Popova.
The sincere intonation of the conversation about the generous man and the great poet infected the young participants of this evening. Among them - students, undergraduates and doctoral students of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education, as well as "students of our students" - students of the Innovation Technical College, who also read poetry of Tamara Madzigon with enthusiasm.
