The winners of the essay contest have been announced

On August 28, 2020, an online awards ceremony for the winners of the essay contest «National Code and Future Education» was organized under the leadership of Abai KazNPU. Asan Satmyrzaev, Vice-Rector for Educational Work, Maksat Zhakauov, Advisor to the Rector for Youth Affairs, and Rahimberdi Zhatybai, Director of Mansap Center, spoke at the event.

Asan Satmyrzaev noted that at the initiative of the President of the RK Kasym-Jomart Tokayev this year at the state level the 175th anniversary of Abai, 1150th anniversary of Al-Farabi and 750th anniversary of the Golden Horde are celebrated. These events play an important role in the spiritual education of the people. Despite the difficult situation with the pandemic, significant dates are still celebrated, widely promoting the valuable heritage of the country`s history in Kazakh society, especially among the younger generation.

The essay contest, which was held from June 1 to August 28, received 84 works by participants. Among them there are 19 students in magistracy and 65 - bachelor`s degree.

The main purpose of the contest is the opportunity to learn the works of the poet and thinker Abai Kunanbaev, the scientific heritage of Al-Farabi, named «Second Teacher», the place and role of the Golden Horde - one of the most significant pages of world history, their modern understanding.

So, in the essay «Abai Baskan Izbenen» the 3rd place was taken by the 3rd year student of the specialty «Pedagogy and methods of primary education» of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology Zhetybayeva Gulbarshyn, 2nd place - by the 2nd year student of the specialty «Kazakh language and literature» Sherali Shapagat and 1st place - by the 2nd year student of the specialty «Kazakh language and literature» Adilet Yklas. They are both from the Institute of Philology and Polylingual Education.

In an essay on the topic «Kemenguerliktin kiltin salgan» 3rd place was taken by Galina Polyakova, a 2nd year 2nd year student of the Institute of Philology and Polylingual Education, 2nd year student of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education Azimkhan Akerke, 2nd year student of the Institute of History and Law Aknur Shyngyshankyzy, 2nd year student of the Institute of History and Law.

On a theme «Taguilimdy tarikh hahinda» the 3rd place was taken by the 4th year student of a speciality «The Kazakh language and literature» of Institute of philology and polylingual education, the 2nd place - the undergraduate student of the 2nd year of a speciality «Chemistry» of Institute of natural sciences and geography of Galymova Nurzhanar, the I place - the 2nd year student of a speciality «History-religiology» of Institute of history and law Sultan Zhumash.

On the theme «XXI gasirdin - Abai Universityi» 3rd place was taken by a 2nd year student of the specialty «RKO» of the Institute of Philology and multilingual Education Kasenova Aynur, 2nd place - 2nd year student of the specialty «International Relations» of the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute Kadylbekova Zulfiya, Ist place - 2nd year student of the specialty «Chemistry» of the Institute of Natural History and Geography Sayakbayeva Symbat.

All winners were awarded a special certificate of the rector and valuable prizes.

Thirty best works will be included into the book « National Code and Future Education» and will be widely spread in the reading halls and libraries of the University. The most interesting essays will be published in the student magazine «Campus», on sites and social network pages of the University.
