New Academic Writing Guide Introduced at Abai University

On May 14, 2025, the official presentation of a methodological guide titled "Academic Writing Workshop" took place at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University. The event was jointly organized by the "Kazakhstan Institute of Public Development" JSC and Abai University.

The main goal of the event was to introduce the tool aimed at fostering a culture of academic writing within the academic community and to create an opportunity for experience sharing.

The event was opened by Zhanatbek Ishpekbayev, Chief of Staff at Abai University, who emphasized the relevance and importance of the guide for the academic environment.

Chairman of the Board of the Kazakhstan Institute of Public Development, Nurbek Madzhani, gave a detailed overview of the guide`s content and its significance for the academic field. One of the co-authors, Nazgul Kozhabek, conducted a workshop, providing participants with valuable insights into current issues and effective strategies in academic writing.

As part of the program, participants engaged in a Q&A session. The event concluded with a photo session.

The book outlines the key principles of academic writing. To ensure clarity, each section is enriched with concrete examples, templates, and exercises. This guide serves as a practical tool for students, educators, researchers, and experts.
